My Recent Purchases.

Mini Haul- featuring River Island, Penneys and H&M.

Penneys/Primark-

I've always considered Penneys as a very hit or miss shop. Most days when I'm dying to go in there I end up coming out with nothing, which is obviously more than a let down. Fortunately, the last time I went into town shopping Penneys was definitely a big hit. I didn't purchase much but I was extremely satisfied with everything I did buy.

                                         White Shirt:

Don't ask why I decided to take all my pictures in front of my window but after I did so I realised it was quite a good idea considering I was photographing shirts. Its also good to know if you need a bandeaux or a string top below it. This shirt isn't as see-through as other shirts I've bought. I would definitely wear a bandeaux below this. I'm definitely happy with this purchase. I'm a huge fan of shirts and I love the collar on this one.

White Dress:

This was definitely my favourite thing that I bought. It genuinely doesn't look like it's from Penneys. The quality is great and I'd glady buy it in other colours. It's the perfect dress for Summer and it was definitely worth the 21 euro. The floral design is perfect for me. It is such a simple dress that looks like you've gone to a lot of effort. I also really like the brown belt that came with it.

                                         Cream Shirt:

I absolutely love this shirt. The collar is so pretty and detailed. It looks super expensive and you would only need a bandeaux with this shirt too. This would look lovely with a pair of leather leggings or mint jeans.

H&M-

                                         Mint Shirt:

H&M was definitely lacking recently. I only managed to find one nice shirt. Hopefully it can get a bit of life soon. Although this shirt is a lovely colour it was more expensive than the shirts I purchased in Penneys and the quality isn't great. It creases really easy and is a lot more see-through than the others. Nevertheless the colour is amazing and I hope I can find away to make it look good. I'll definitely match this with a pair of white jeans.

 River Island-

                                                Grey Shorts:

I bought these shorts while I was in London and I thought they were nothing less than a bargain. They were reduced to £15 so I thought I'd buy them because I thought they would be nice for Summer. They have a very nice fit and I'm really pleased I bought them. They are a little too short so I will definitely be wearing these with tights.

                                              Dungarees and Crop Top:

After I saw Eleanor Calder's outfit just like this I knew I needed to get my hands on a similar look. They didn't have my size in the dungarees in the River Island by me so unfortunately I did have to order them online. But they were definitely worth the wait. They fit perfectly and the crop top goes fantastic with them. Sorry this picture doesn't portray the colour of the dungarees well, the lighting isn't great.

I hoped this was helpful :) Feel free to comment below and thank you for reading.

My Busy Weekend.

London-

As I haven't previously mentioned you probably don't know that I am a complete One Direction fan. I went to see them in Dublin on the 6th of March and I was literally blown away by them. The good looks would have been enough to get me through the night but they are truly talented performers and absolutely hilarious. Straight after the concert I knew I'd have to go again. I was then on Twitter a few days later and to my excitement Harry had tweeted that they were releasing a new date for London.

I knew it was a sign that I had to go so and after a lot of persuasion I got around my parents to let me go. I was never so excited about anything just because I had already experienced how amazing the concert really was and of course I got to see Harry Styles in the flesh ;) So last Friday I headed to the airport to fly to Stansted. Unfortunately our flight was delayed but I was distracted by the free Wi-Fi..yay. We finally arrived and headed to the hotel near the airport and indulged in some Mac Donald's. The next morning after very little sleep we got the bus to Westfield. Like most people are was in Heaven surrounded by all the shops. Since it was early we decided to get Pinkberry. It was my first time getting it and I absolutely delicious. Nothing more refreshing in the morning. The staff were also really friendly and helpful too. As were many of the staff in the other shops which is nice to see :).

After a bit of shopping we headed to Victoria's Secret on the Tube to buy some Pink clothes. They are the only brand that I think you can wear a tracksuit but still look like you've put some effort into yourself. I couldn't resist and and had to take a picture of the dogs.

After that we went to the O2 to go to the One Direction World Shop. It was literally unreal they had everything a fan could ever want haha but of course I had to resist some things because I would have needed thousands. But I was satisfied with 2 key rings, a t-shirt, a jumper and a wristband ;). It wasn't long before we were starving so we went to Nando's.. Nom nom nom.

At last the time came to start getting ready for the concert. We checked into the Hilton and we were given the executive suite at no extra charge for no reason haha we still can't understand why. After getting all dolled up we headed back to the Tube to get to the O2. By the way the Tube is like the most amazing thing ever. The transport in Ireland is so awful and I didn't realise it until I went to London.

When we arrived Camryn was performing followed by 5 Seconds of Summer who are really good. I can see them becoming very well known soon and the Australian accents add to their talent. Then the show really got started when One Direction came out :). Literally I can barely remember the night because I was in such a daze. They were unbelievable and I would genuinely go a third time. In relation to the seats I was in Block 111, Row B, Seat 336. The seats were actually quite good but as you probably know they were filming the 'This is us' movie so there was a massive camera in front of the stage. Other than that camera you would have perfect view. When they went to the second stage they were literally in touching distance. It was such an amazing night. I wasn't too concerned with getting as many pictures this time because it gets very distracting so I just took videos and didn't take much notice of what I was doing. After the concert we went back to the hotel and the next morning we flew to Dublin because I had tickets to see Ellie Goulding in the Olympia Theatre.

Dublin-

We didn't really get to enjoy Dublin as much as we would have liked to because we were just exhausted after London. We checked into another hotel and literally went to the concert with the same makeup we had on from 7 o' clock that morning.

Ellie ended up being a lot better than I had anticipated. She sounds even better in real life and is actually really nice and interacts with the crowd. It was a very chill concert but even though it was I much prefer crazy, loud concerts it was still really good :) We went back to the hotel afterwards and I spent the majority of the 3 hour bus journey home attempting to sleep. I really enjoyed my weekend and I hope to go to London again :)

My Favourite Lipsticks

MAC Costa Chic

Costa Chic is one of my favourite MAC lipsticks. It is beautiful coral colour that is perfect for Summer. It is great for when you don't have a lot of time to put effort into your makeup and it will brighten up your whole appearance. I have no doubt that this colour would work on any skin tone and I highly recommend it. The only downfall to this product is that you would definitely have to bring it around with you to reapply it throughout the day.

Barry M in shade 158

Not only am I completely obsessed with the shade 158 but all the Barry M lipsticks that I have tried are amazing and so affordable. This shade is perfect for a night out. It is so bright and moisturising, it literally has no flaws. It's a stunning pigmented coral colour. No doubt that you will stand out with this lipstick on. The great thing about this product is it literally lasts all day. This is definitely one of my go to lipsticks. If you haven't already, go buy this lipstick ;)

Barry M in shade 156

When I first opened this lipstick I was a little scared to try it. As you can probably see from the picture below it looks very dark. I didn't think I'd be able to pull it off. I bought it anyway just to try it out and I love it. It doesn't come out as dark as it looks at all. I lasts all day and it definitely an unusual colour that you wouldn't see everyday. It has a lovely soft finish to it. It is perfect for when you are wearing an outfit with a burgundy colour that you don't want to overpower with a red lipstick. If you're feeling daring you should definitely try this shade.

Barry M in shade 151

Like all the other Barry M lipsticks I have mentioned this one is just as creamy and pigmented. Unlike the others, this shade is a bit more subtle and could be worn on a daily basis if you wanted. It is just as appealing as the others and is, of course a coral shade. Coral colours definitely suit my skin tone very well. The other corals I have mentioned have more of a pinky tone to them whereas this one has an orange tone to it.

Infrared by Topshop

This is one of my most recent purchases. I've always wanted to try an orange lipstick and while in Topshop I thought this shade was perfect for me. I love the colour. It is literally a bright orange. It's definitely a daring colour but if you can pull it off go for it. The only fault with this colour, like Costa Chic, you have to keep reapplying it throughout the day. It can sometimes become a bit of a hassle. I love the colour nevertheless.

Innocent by Topshop

I was very surprised by this shade. I usually find lighter pinks don't suit my skin tone but this actually did. It is simply a beautiful, subtle pink. It's quite moisturising and lasts a lot longer than infrared. The Topshop lipsticks are definitely worth looking at :)

Thanks for reading :)

Mac Mineralize Skinfinish

After months of hearing people rave about the Mac Mineralize Skinfinishes I finally decided to check them out for myself. I had two vouchers for Mac so I knew exactly what I was going to purchase

Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium

Since purchasing the Mineralize Skinfinsh Natural in Medium I have been more than impressed with it. Usually when I buy MAC powders or foundations I go for the full coverage so I wasn't too keen on buying the natural powder. I was shocked when I began using it because although it's natural it gives a flawless finish. I'm so happy I discovered this product because I have never come across a powder that will keep my foundation in place and leaves you with a healthy glow. This is one of my favourite things about this powder. It doesn't take the glow away from your foundation.

Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle

I can't say enough good things about this highlighter. I have been wearing it everyday since I bought it and I absolutely love it. Even though I would already have a healthy glow from using the natural powder this highlighter adds even more to my finished daily make up routine. I can promise you this shimmery highlighter will guarantee you some compliments. I usually use it on my cheekbones and along my nose. I still use bronzer with this product because I'm pretty pale but if you're lucky enough to be tanned you could get away with just using this.

My Daily Face Routine

I moisturise using the 'Simple Rich Replenishing Moisturiser'. I then apply my fouondation 'Mac Studio Fix Fluid in NC15'. I set my foundation using'MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium'. I contour using 'Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder'. Finally, I highlight using the 'MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle'.

I hope this mini review was helpful :)
